GENERAL TERMS & CONDITIONS
Payment of your deposit indicates an understanding of & acceptance of the Terms & Conditions outlined here, in the Release of Liability & those described on each detailed itinerary.
RESERVATIONS & PAYMENTS
We recommend reservations up to 30 days before departure, but we also accept last-minute bookings. Confirmation is subject to available space for local services. There is no last minute service fee payable at this time.
Reservations required a deposit of 30-50%, according to trip length & destination among other factors. Deposits may be made securely through PAYPAL & final balance payments may be made by PAYPAL, two weeks prior to departure or, depending on the date of the reservation, cash payment on board can be accepted.
CANCELLATION POLICY
If you must cancel your participation on a trip, for any reason, payments made will be returned, less a cancellation fee computed per person according to our policy, based on the date our office receives written notification of your cancellation. We refund 50% of the deposit made, for all reservations cancelled 60 days prior of the date of the trip’s departure. Any cancellation received less than 60 days prior departure’s date, will result in the complete loss of the deposit. Any cancellation received less than 14 days prior arrival’s date, will result in the complete loss of the total payed amount.
SUBSTITUTION
Any change of date or content cannot be guaranteed & shall be applied as subject to availability. On occasion a trip participant canceling may have a friend or family member willing to take their place. Substitutions of this nature are allowed in all cases, even on last-minute bookings.
METEOROLOGICAL CONDITIONS
Although we live in a blessed country, where the sun embrace the nature for 10 months per year, our trips & excursions can face a bad weather condition. In this cases, all our scheduled tours will continue as planned, but we reserve the right to make small changes & suggestions which will improve the experiences of the tour.
LIMITATIONS OF LIABILITY
PRIVATE GREECE acts like an agent in Greece & offers to its customers : transportation, hotel accommodations, meals, tours, guides & other services in connection with its itineraries from independent local suppliers. Participants expressly agree that Private Greece shall not be liable for death, personal injury or any other loss that may occur due to any act or omission of any such supplier, by reason of any other event over which it has no control. Additionally, Private Greece shall not be liable for : a) expenses such as hotel accommodations or additional meals not specified in the itinerary which may be required due to the participant’s travel arrangements, airline schedule changes, canceled flights, missed flight connections, or by other factors not under PRIVATE GREECE’s control or b) expenses incurred in recuperating luggage lost by the airlines, excess luggage fees, flight changes or delays, belongings left behind on a trip, or in shipping purchases or other goods home from abroad. We reserve the right to make reasonable changes to the itinerary or activities, where deemed advisable for the comfort and/or well-being of the tour group.

Private Greece has established this privacy policy to keep you informed about the personally identifiable information we may collect from you & how it may be used & protected. This include information that can be linked to a specific individual, such as name, address, phone number or email address. As used in this Privacy Policy, "Content" means text, images, photos, audio, video, location data & all other forms of data or communication. "Your Content" means Content that you submit or transmit to, through, or in connection with http://privatetourgreece.com & http://private-greece.com (the "Site"), such as ratings, reviews, compliments, check-ins, messages.

- Travel Arrangements. To make travel arrangements & provide other services to you, we will collect personal information from you, including but not limited to :
- your name, your mailing address, your phone number, email address & birthday
- information necessary to facilitate travel or other services, including travel companion(s) names, emergency contacts, passport information & special dietary or medical needs
- personal information provided to customer-service representatives to research & resolve issues or questions; &
- payment information, including but not limited to your credit card number, card type, cardholder name, expiration date, and billing address.
- Commonly Used Internet Technologies.
- Private Greece use commonly employed Internet technologies to collect additional information about users. For example, we use "cookies" to determine how users reach the Site & to track general usage patterns once a user is on the Site & to recognize them when they return to the Site. "Cookies" are small pieces of information that are transferred by a website & stored by your web browser on your computer's hard drive. Most web browsers automatically accept cookies; however, you can always choose not to accept a cookie by changing your computer preferences to refuse cookies or to prompt you to accept each cookie, but doing so will limit the range of features available to you on the Site. - You may receive emails from us about special promotions, surveys, contests, trip information, or other travel opportunities with Private Greece. To assess the effectiveness of these emails, we may attach a web beacon that provides confirmation when you open an email from the Site. This only occurs if your computer supports such technology. Private Greece also collects certain technical information from your computer each time you request a page during a visit to the Site. This information is collected from your computer's web browser to enhance your experience on our Site & may include your IP address, operating system, web browser software, screen resolution & referrer website.
Use of Personal Information Collected
- Travel Arrangements & Suppliers. We use your personal information to complete any travel order (i.e., to complete hotel, car, tour & other reservations), fulfill any customer service requests & provide promotional or trip related information via email or direct mail, process payment & other related uses. Except as otherwise provided in this Privacy Policy, we do not share this information with outside parties except to the extent necessary or desirable to complete your order & fulfill your travel arrangements.
- Administrative & Analytical Purposes. In addition to processing, confirming & fulfilling the travel or other services you request, Private Greece may use certain data for administrative & analytical purposes such as information systems management, accounting, billing & audits & may provide such data to third parties assisting us in such efforts. We may also use your personal information to provide you other services, such as sending you an email notification regarding the status of your travel plans or informing you about special promotions, surveys, contests, sweepstakes, trip information, or other travel opportunities from Private Greece or its marketing partners. We may provide anonymous statistical information based on this data to suppliers, advertisers, affiliates & other current & potential business partners. We may also use such aggregate data to inform these third parties as to the number of people who have seen & clicked on links to their websites.
- Miscellaneous. Private Greece may disclose the information that we collect about you on a case by case basis to attorneys, private investigator organizations, law enforcement agencies, or to other third parties who in Private Greece's own discretion need to know such information, in each case, if we believe that you are in risk of harm from another, or that you are harming or interfering (or will harm or interfere) with others, or are violating (either intentionally or unintentionally) our Site Terms & Conditions, or are otherwise violating legal obligations, or to otherwise enforce our rights. In addition, we may be disclosed to the extent we are required to do by law.
